Short Story
SMALL THINGS, GREAT CHANGE
In a village, there was a gigantic banyan tree. It was
the sheltering place for all the birds and the squirrels. Once there was dense
rain. All the birds had hidden themselves in their nests, except a squirrel and
a bird. Both are very intimate friends. They ramble over the branches in the
tree like a moon walk in the heavy rain. They happened to see the ant which was
hazardous state; almost it was going to slip down from the branch. Both the
friends run fast and saved the life of that ant. It said “Thanks” to them and
they started their moon walk again.
They happened to see the cuckoo which was trembling and
tried to protect its nest. They helped cuckoo to rebuild its house. Finally,
they returned to their house. In the morning, both friends went for playing.
There, they saw a silkworm which was eating leaves and didn’t move anywhere.
Again in the evening, they find the silkworm made a nest around itself. They
realised that something is going to happen. Within few days, they saw a
butterfly flew from that nest. They were astounded to look at the picture. They
share the information to everyone. And they were realised even a tiny and
extravagant things make them to realise something. They started to learn
lessons from their ambience.
